Meccano Sliding Table X -Y

This is an experimental model. I don'think that one can use it for real, unless he/she works on wax or other soft material.

The X move of the table is about 2" and the X move is 1 1/2".

The lead screws are made from Mecano screwed rods (5/32 thread) and it take sits time for the table to go from one end to the other.
